Dr. Kirk Mauro was close to realizing his goal of providing total
patient care for physical therapy patients in one central location.
The only challenge was that the new space was on a second level, and
Dr. Mauro planned to add about 30,000 lbs. of weights and equipment
for his new rehab center.
The question was: Could Parrish Group change the building's structure to accommodate them?
Dr. Mauro says, “To my pleasure, they were able to meet our needs and did it most efficiently.”
The next challenge came a year later when the practice had outgrown its space. Once again, Parrish Group offered to reconfigure adjacent offices to fit their needs. Even better: construction crews worked nights and weekends to avoid interruptions in the medical practice.
“We never closed our office – not one day,” says Dr. Mauro. Patients were able to continue to receive care, in spite of construction.
The expansion is a plus for Tallahassee, too. The Injury Care Clinic specializes in non-narcotic rehabilitation, utilizing computer-enhanced equipment that reduces pain and maximizes recovery for people with injuries. That means patients can usually avoid taking heavy painkillers that can interfere with daily activities.
This was Dr. Mauro's first experience with an expansion project and he says Parrish Group exceeded his expectations. “We really had some special needs and they delivered. I continue to recommend Parrish Group to other local business owners.”
