When
the Tallahassee office of the Butler Pappas law firm needed more space
to support their litigation defense practice, one of their priorities
was to stay in the neighborhood of I-10 and Thomasville Road.
Not an easy thing to do.
It was in early 2003 and one of the partners noted a pair of attractive new buildings were scheduled to go up across the street from Premier Health & Fitness Center. When they learned Parrish Group was the developer, they had their Tampa-based headquarters make an inquiry.
“I was familiar with Parrish up here,” says Kathy J. Maus, a partner in the firm. “And I’d heard good things about them. Once we saw the size and square footage of the building, we knew it would be a perfect fit.”
Now occupying 11,500 sq. ft. - the entire first floor of the Maclay I building - Maus says the firm’s move was a good decision. The relocation was smooth and maintenance issues are never a problem. “Whenever we pick up the phone to call Parrish, we get a response,” she says.
Maus adds that having customized interior space has been good for the nearly 100-lawyer firm, which also maintains offices in Miami, Mobile and Tampa. The abundant and accessible parking is a bonus, too. “Employees can park in the back and it’s not like we’re having to walk from the North 40 to get here,” she says. Clients have their own designated spots in the front.
For a firm like Butler Pappas, which represents clients throughout the U.S. and even internationally, attractive and functional office space is vital. Having it so accessible only makes it that much more impressive.
Yet another successful case for the attorneys at Butler Pappas.
